Medical and scientific grade precision rubber and silicone materials in the SBR-LS range . . .

Silicone (VMQ)

Silicone offers the flexible capability to meet the varying demands of life science applications. Healthcare applications make extensive use of the material benefits of VMQ.

Neoprene (CR)

Neoprene is ideally suited to applications including single use medical consumables.  This applies to products where sensitivity and contact with skin are a design consideration.

Viton (FKM)

This is a material recognised for its high performance material capability.  Key markets taking advantage of its properties include the analytical, biopharma and medical device industries.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ)

Excellent stability and resistance to fluid and gases are features of this rubber material.  Both biopharma and healthcare applications utilise this material.

Nitrile (NBR)

NBR demonstrates superior stability when exposed to liquid solutions and solvents.  Sterilisation and autoclave processes required for medical rubber components are key users.

Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM)

Chemical resistance and stability when exposed to steam make FFKM a useful elastomer.  Life science markets benefit from the many FDA compliant perfluoroelastomer component options.

EPDM

The full spectrum of life science markets are beneficiaries of this useful polymer.  Our O-rings, seals and gaskets are all available in EPDM (with optional WRAS compliant specifications).

Polyetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

PTFE has the ability to prevent the development of bacteria when used as a coating.  Applications where infection prevention is key such as on surgical grafts is one example.

Quality is the cornerstone of our manufacturing, products and business operations

Achieving the gold standard in component design, material selection and performance is at the heart of our business.  We aim to achieve excellence for our customers.
SBR are committed to quality and as such are approved to the Internationally accepted Quality Management Standard ISO9001:2015.  Quality assurance is present throughout our specification and manufacturing process.

We have the capability to deliver a vast range of rubber components with a fast and responsive service.  The aim is to continually meet and exceed customer expectations with exceptional rubber and silicone product quality.
